Welcome to the blog of Alex "Red" Valdez. This blog will document the karate experiences and Kumite point sparring fights of Alex "Red" Valdez. Alex is 11 years old and participates in the 10-11 year old male division. (63) He trains and practices at Alchemy Karate in El Paso, Texas under the guidance and leadership of Laco and Eddie Villanueva. He is a proud member of Team Alchemy and is training hard for the 2008 season.

To date Red has participated in two Kumite events and has placed 1st place in both. In this picture Red holds a 1st place trophy from the Eli Guzman Karate Tournament on April 5, 2008.
